A few of our poems inspired by the St. Simon's lighthouse...
The lighthouse
Sits on the edge
Of St. Simon’s
The beach spreads out
Far and wide
And the light house
Stands behind it
The top is the best
It feels amazing to
Just stand there
- Jacob Dannenfelser
Spooky as a ghost
Charming as a king
Feels like a porcupine
Touching against our bodies
Like a dead man
Creeping against the wind
Soaring into the darkness
-Morgan McGahan
The lighthouse
So big
And so tall
Stands
Like a giraffe
A mysterious voice
Inside
Like a haunted
Ghost
- Amanda Pilkenton
